Tutorial Description
A rendering is an artistice expression of a technical object. This tutorial will instruct you in the basic steps to use Inventor Studio to create a still image rendering. The rendered image can be saved as a graphics file (JPEG, BMP, GIF, etc.)
You must allow ActiveX controls in order to play video segments. Read the step by step tutorial, then watch the video before trying to follow along.

Software Description
The software utilized in this tutorial is Autodesk Inventor Pro 2008. The student should be familiar with rotate, pan, zoom and turning on visibility of work planes.

Process Description

Step 1. Open an Inventor file and position the object as neeed. Open Inventor Studio
Step 2. Select the scene style and output image size.
Step 3. Select lighting style.
Step 4. Select surface style.
Step 5 Render and save file.

1. What is the intended purpose of the rendering?

2. How should the object be oriented?

3. How will lighting and shadows be used to emphasize the object?
